MIST RESTAURAUNT

In this project, I was responsible for delivering research precedents connected to the space's concept and vision. During this phase, I needed to assess the cultural relevance to the community Mist served. I was also expected to incorporate sustainable, ergonomic, and universal barrier-free design elements throughout the space while complying with the Ontario Building Code.

Within the context of hospitality design for Mist, I delivered a concept and design focused on spatial relevance, the interpretation of art and culture, a strong understanding of food and beverage service, including preparations and processing, and functional planning.

DELIVERABLES

CONCEPT

Inspired by the ancient alchemy of fire and water, Mist celebrates the interplay between these elemental forces, symbolizing the synthesis of contrasting energies. The design ethos seamlessly integrates fiery hues and cooling tones, invoking a sense of balance and tranquillity throughout the space.

Every aspect of Mist’s design is meticulously crafted to foster inclusivity and connection, offering a sanctuary where individuals from all walks of life can come together to savour exquisite cuisine and forge meaningful connections. Whether dining alone or with loved ones, patrons are enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality, where the boundaries between divergent worlds dissolve, and the shared experience of culinary exploration unites us all.
